Matt is one of the best young all-rounder’s in Australia.
Finishing in second place in the A Grade player of the year award The Olly Cooley Medal and winning both the batting and bowling averages - the first time in 23 years that this has been achieved, he scored 767 runs at an average of 64, and took 32 wickets at an average of 15, Matt has proven he is one of the best young talents in the country. His class was shown last season scoring 83 against a full strength South African test line-up prior to the Perth test match playing for Western Australia.
Matt has had the experience of going through the Junior club, Junior district, Junior State, Senior District and Senior Warriors system. All of this knowledge is ready to be passed on.

He is now part of the Wimbridge coaching academy and is available for one on one sessions, he is a fantastic batting coach and is building a stable of fine young cricketers that he can influence in temperament, technique and overall batsmanship. Spots will not last long as he will fit in these sessions around his WACA and Willetton commitments.
