Chicken Treat Emerging Dragons Program

Willetton Club Coach Aaron Harwood and WACA Development Officer
Ross Macauley at the inaugural session of Willetton District Cricket's
Emerging Dragons Program

In a District Cricket first, the Willetton District cricket club has this year announced the start of the Emerging Dragons program.

This program is open to boys and girls from 9 years to 15 years of age and is designed to capture the very best of natural talent at a young age. Any club coaches or local schools who have outstanding talent have the opportunity to feed these players into the program. The players train on turf once a month throughout the season, with district coaches and A grade players in attendance, to work on technique and cricket knowledge. To be part of the program simply contact Director of Junior Coaching Ian Bycroft on 9312-1650. The club charges $65 for 6 sessions. Players receive a training shirt  as well as a club cap. They will also receive a Chicken Treat voucher at each session. Players will train as a group once a month on a Thursday night 4pm - 5.15pm and meet the A Grade players.

Dates for our sessions on turf at the Willetton Sports Club are as follows:
